Continuing our tradition, the 2011 Business Breakfast Series kicks off with a
panel of experts from the Writers Guild of America West, sharing insight and
advice for writers of all levels.
Tamara Krinsky
is the New Media Program Manager, exploring
digital content, and is an actress, journalist, and new media producer. She has
produced online content for Discovery Channel, TLC, Warner Independent Pictures
and Overture Films, hosts The Spotlight, a weekly tech show, and was a
Webby honoree for the independent film series At
the Fest.
Kimberly Myers
is Director of Diversity for WGAw, but began in NYC
producing short films for Saturday Night Live and as an executive at
Showtime. She has produced public television programs, been VP of Program
Development at TNT, VP of Movies and Mini Series at Fox Television, and produced
films for NBC, CBS and Lifetime.
Kay Schaber Wolf, an 8-year WGAw veteran, is
the Guild's Independent Film Executive, outreaching to emerging writers and
filmmakers, encouraging them to use WGA contracts and join in the community of
Guild writers.
The breakfast consists of eggs, potatoes, pastries, fresh fruit, juice & coffee.
At 8:30am, founder Jeffrey Gordon will introduce our guest speaker(s) for a
brief interview and Q&A about their particular expertise, emphasizing
professional trends, new opportunities and emerging markets.
Doors open at 7:45 am. Advance tickets are $20 for the public, including
breakfast. Tickets at the door when available are $25.
Advance tickets are only $10 for Writers Boot Camp
