Writers Boot Camp is committed to promoting Diversity within the entertainment industry. In an effort to jumpstart the professional support of ethnically diverse writers and to empower entertainment companies to fulfill the diversity mandate responsibilities, Writers Boot Camp has established staff training and guidelines for this express purpose.
Twentieth Century Fox annually sponsors ethnically diverse writers through Writers Boot Camp. In 2004 in particular, seven of thirteen sponsored writers earned staff positions. In addition, WBC works with numerous civic and philanthropic organizations to support the education and success of diverse writers and artists.
